With The Elder Scrolls 6 on the horizon… maybe a very distant horizon but a horizon nonetheless, players are wondering how exactly they are going to play the Bethesda title.

It may have been six years since Bethesda first announced that The Elder Scrolls 6 had begun development but at least fans know that the next entry in the long-running The Elder Scrolls series is on the way… one day.

Check out the teaser trailer for The Elder Scrolls 6 below!

Until then, we can only speculate as to what we can expect from the next major RPG as well as wonder what platforms it will be coming to.

Unless a new generation of consoles releases before The Elder Scrolls 6, we can expect it to arrive on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X at least. However, a new feature could mean that fans won’t even need an Xbox Series X to be able to play the The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim sequel.

Courtesy of a partnership between Microsoft and Amazon, Xbox Cloud Gaming through the Fire TV Stick 4K Max and the Fire TV Stick 4K will now be possible.

The streaming sticks that cost around £50/60 will give users access to the Xbox app from July onwards and all they have to do is sign into their existing Microsoft accounts.

Although an Xbox Game Pass subscription is needed, that is all that will be required to launch your most anticipated Xbox titles which could include The Elder Scrolls 6.

Last but not least, you will need a wireless Bluetooth-enabled controller which includes Microsoft's Wireless Xbox controllers as well as the PlayStation DualSense and DualShock 4.

Whilst waiting for The Elder Scrolls 6, players can also use the Fire Stick to play hit titles such as Starfield, Halo: Infinite and Forza Horizon 5.

Hopefully this collaboration will boost sales for the Xbox Game Pass and give subscribers access to some more incredible day-one releases in the future.
