The Avengers have officially reassembled with the last leader you'd expect

The Avengers have officially reassembled with the last leader you'd expect

The doctor will see you now

Marvel Comics has been leaning in hard on Doctor Doom, perhaps because of his incoming appearance in the MCU.

The villain has been the main feature of a recent event taking place in the pages of several Marvel comics, and it seems he is now forming his own Avengers team.

Marvel is back on TV very soon with Daredevil: Born Again.

It all started when Doctor Doom took hold of Doctor Strange’s powers and branded himself Emperor of the World.

Since then, Doom has been running the planet with an iron fist.

Now, as Doom attempts to become the first sorcerer supreme of Asgard, he is facing opposition from Captain America and a band of heroes and villains.

In retaliation, Doom is putting together his own ‘Superior Avengers’ formed of Abomination, Doctor Octopus, Ghost, Killmonger, Malekith, and Onslaught.

This new six-part series will follow the Superior Avengers as Doom takes on a more ruthless attitude to world domination.

The synopsis reads, “When Doctor Doom ruled the world…and he needed an Avengers team all of his own! Kristoff Vernard, son of Victor Von Doom, has been tasked with building the newest iteration of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.”

The character designs for the team are pretty awesome, and I can only imagine what kind of carnage they’re going to cause.

Marvel claims this team is “deadlier, meaner, and all-around superior to any Avengers team that’s come before”.

It’s going to be a bad time to be a hero, or a citizen, one would think.

One World Under Doom begins 12 February 2025 and there, you’ll be able to follow this new team who won’t do any good for the planet, but will definitely support the maniacal Doom.

It’s unknown how long this event will last, but it’s certainly setting up fans for the MCU invasion that will occur with the next two Avengers movies.
