Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League players are being compensated for the game’s poor early access launch with in-game currency.
In an unfortunate turn of events, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League has had an abysmal early-access launch. If you spend some extra cash for the premium version of the game, you should be able to play the game now and finally join Task Force X on its mission to take down Earth’s greatest heroes.

It wasn’t smooth sailing though as Rocksteady Studios had to temporarily kill the servers following the discovery of a game breaking bug. New players would load up the game for the first time only to discover the story mode had already been completed. The issue has since been fixed but the servers were down for a very long time, leading to several complaints and refund requests from players who paid to play early.

Fortunately those players are now receiving compensation for the issue in the form of LutherCoins, an in-game currency used for cosmetic content. Players have received 2,000 of these coins, which is around $20 in value, which is actually quite generous. The in-game currency can be used to unlock a variety of character and weapon skins, in addition to emotes, banners and other simply cosmetic items.
Whether this makes up for the inconvenience is up to the players it affected, but at least the majority can now resume their rampage in Metropolis uninterrupted for the time being.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is an online service game, and will be updated over time with free content for the first year of its life. The first DLC expansion will add a new playable character, The Joker, as well as new missions, unlockables and other goodies.
The game will officially launch on 2 February for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC, though if you purchase the early-access edition you can play now.
