Jazz up your profile

To celebrate Steam’s current Rhythm Fest event, those taking part can also get their hands on some free downloads to get in on the action.

Available now until 26 August, Steam is hosting its Rhythm Fest event which offers free demos and big discounts to some of its top-rated titles in the genre.

Once Human is also free to download via Steam! Check out its trailer below.

From 21 free games to try out to some big-name titles available at over half price, this event is not one to miss out on if you are a fan of music, roguelikes and hack ‘n’ slash games.

As well as getting your hands on some free games, Steam is also giving PC users the chance to download some featured items.

This includes the Beat Mix animated sticker, Groove Track animated avatar and the Rhythm Pulse avatar frame.

The animated downloads which can be used to jazz up your Steam profile all follow the synthwave-esque aesthetic with pulsing volumes, Guitar Hero-style visuals and bright colours.

They are free to download until 26 August so don’t miss out if this matches your style.

As well as the Rhythm Fest, Steam has also recently dropped a free download for one of 2023’s biggest RPGs.

As well as that, there are also multiple free downloads to get your hands on including racing games, a zombie-slayer, an Among Us ripoff, a survival title and much more.

This all comes just after Steam announced it would be rolling out a brand-new review system for its storefront.

The update will make it a lot easier to sort between positive and negative reviews, especially if they are more on the joke side of things.

With games costing more and more each year, it is important to make sure a title will be worth your money before you make the purchase and now, that is a whole lot easier to do.
