Another upcoming Star Wars game may be getting a release date reveal soon, following a new ratings board update.
It’s been relatively quiet since we last heard about Star Wars Zero Company, the upcoming turn-based tactics game from former XCOM developers.
The game was announced back in April 2025 with a vague ‘2026’ release window, and we haven’t heard much of it since then.
Moreover, it seems a lot of the attention on Star Wars right now is towards the upcoming releases of The Mandalorian & Grogu and Star Wars: Galactic Racer, which bookend the summer.

But on the other hand, some signs are pointing towards Star Wars Zero Company getting a new reveal soon, along with a potential release date announcement.
As reported by GamingBolt, Star Wars Zero Company received a rating by South Korea’s GRAC (Game Rating and Administration Committee) on 30 April. The game was rated 15+ for realistic violence, weapons, profanity, and more.
The listing suggests the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) has rated the game T for Teen, and would also indicate that a release date announcement is close.
As for when that’ll be, there haven’t been any hints towards a specific date, but with late 2026 being dominated by Grand Theft Auto VI, we imagine that it’ll be sooner rather than later.
It'll perhaps end up being announced at Summer Game Fest, which is due to take place between 5 June and 8 June.

Star Wars Zero Company is a single-player turn-based tactics game set during the Clone Wars, where you command an elite squad of misfits through several gritty operations against the backdrop of the wars.
Although we only have a few snippets of gameplay from that initial announcement trailer, the game looks like it’ll play very similarly to XCOM, where you command your unit to move and attack during a turn, before the enemy does the same.
Playable characters range from a Mandalorian and a Jedi to an astromech droid and a cyborg boxer. The main protagonist is also fully customisable, allowing you to pick their gender, appearance, and voice.
“Command an elite squad through a gritty and authentic story in STAR WARS Zero Company™, a single-player turn-based tactics game developed by Bit Reactor in collaboration with Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games,” reads the blurb on Star Wars Zero Company.
“Set in the twilight of the Clone Wars, you will step into the shoes of Hawks, a former Republic officer who leads Zero Company — an unconventional outfit of professionals for hire hailing from across the galaxy.
“Hawks and Zero Company are recruited for an operation that pits them against an emerging threat that will consume the galaxy if left unchecked. To succeed, Hawks will lead a team of uneasy allies who must set aside their differences to overcome nearly impossible odds.”
Star Wars Zero Company will launch on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
