Has Star Wars Jedi: Survivor got you into a Star Wars mood? If so, there’s an excellent free Star Wars game on offer very soon which is sure to fit the bill.
Despite a slightly rocky start on PC, most fans and critics have been full of praise for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. As well as all the improvements that Fallen Order fans were begging for (most notably, an upgraded Holomap and the addition of a fast travel system), it includes all sorts of new features that we never expected, such as an arachnophobia setting to remove the spider-like enemies from the game. Most importantly, of course, it’s introduced us to the best froggy friend in all of the galaxies, Turgle. Love you, Turgle.

Jedi: Survivor hype aside, in just a few hours, it'll be Star Wars Day (4 May), and as Eurogamer reports, Amazon Prime has got a very appropriate treat ready for subscribers. From tomorrow, Prime Gaming members can claim the 1998 classic arcade-style flight game, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 3D (the PC version) at no extra cost.

“It is a time of great rejoicing in the galaxy. Luke Skywalker, with the help of Wedge Antilles, has blown up the Death Star. But there is little time to celebrate,” the game’s synopsis on Steam reads. “The mighty Empire is gathering strength for a determined, all-out assault on the Rebel forces.”
Obviously, Rogue Squadron is a little bit old now - you might have first experienced it on the N64. With that in mind, don’t expect it to feel quite as slick as a modern Star Wars title, but a free game is a free game, and it’s definitely worth giving it a go if you’ve never played it.
As long as you have an active Prime subscription, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 3D can be claimed via the Amazon Games App tomorrow.
