A new Star Wars prequel confirms two fan-favourite Jedi survived Order 66.
Ah, Order 66 - the sinister order instigated by none other than the traitor in the midst Sheev Palpatine, otherwise known as Darth Sidious. Order 66 was a top-secret scheme in the Star Wars universe that looked to label all Jedi as traitors and eradicate them from existence once and for all, leaving the Galactic Empire to take reign over the galaxy.
Ahsoka debuts this August. Take a look at the trailer below.
However, not all Jedi fell victim to Order 66 with the likes of Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ashoka Tano, Cal Kestis, and Kelleran Beq all surviving. Well, as it happens, as reported by comicbook.com, two Jedi thought to have died during Order 66 just so happened to survive, somehow.

The two Jedi in question are Shaak Ti and General Aayla Secura. In the comic book Star Wars: Doctor Aphra #32, Doctor Aphra manages to kidnap Luke Skywalker for a hostage mission. However, by chance (or as instigated by the Force), Aphra discovers a holo message from Shaak Ti to Aayla Secura, pleading for her friend to come to Sason Temple to help guard an ancient artefact.
Aphra needs Skywalker to open the aforementioned temple, as it can only be opened by a pure-hearted Jedi. Upon arriving at the temple, a battle breaks out and then Aphra and Skywalker fall into a pool, only to find both Shaak and Aayla standing before them with Lightsabers in hand.
Both Shaak and Aayla were apparently killed during Revenge of the Sith, though I suppose we could argue that neither of their corpses were shown. Aayla was seemingly killed on Devaron, whereas Shaak’s death was hidden within the deleted scenes while she was meditating.
Still, if you want to learn more, I guess you’ll have to buy the latest issue of Star Wars: Doctor Aphra. In related Star Wars news, it seems that Ubisoft’s open-world game might be arriving sooner than we thought. As for the Knights of the Old Republic remake, its release might not ever see the light of day.
