Ubisoft has just announced a whole slew of updates for Star Wars Outlaws, including their plans for its first piece of downloadable content.
As revealed on Twitter by the official Star Wars Outlaws account, developer Massive Entertainment is currently “hard at work creating multiple title updates, which will bring optimisation, gameplay polishing and tweaks as well as quality of life changes including adjustments to combat and stealth gameplay”.
The latter half of the update should serve as no surprise to anyone who has played the game, as some of its stealth sections were heavily criticised by reviewers at launch for being terribly unfun to navigate.

The team did also reveal some of their plans for the next DLC pack they’re planning to release too, stating that their “very first story pack, Star Wars Outlaws: Wild Card, will also launch on 21 November and will see Kay and Nix infiltrate a high-stakes Sabacc tournament where they will face off against the legendary Lando Calrissian.”
Take a look at the game in action below.
According to the same press release several “new contracts will be added free for all players” alongside Wild Card, but so far we don’t have any extra details regarding them.

The DLC was revealed on the official road map some time ago now, but this is our first confirmation of its release date.
They didn’t divulge any details about Star Wars Outlaws' second story pack, dubbed “A Pirate’s Fortune”, but assumedly we’ll hear more about that one once Wild Card is finally out.
All of this news comes alongside recent news that, according to a press release from Ubisoft themselves, the sales for Star Wars Outlaws were less than they had hoped for. Or, as they put it, the game had a “softer than expected launch”.
They’re probably hoping that the Steam release of the game, which is confirmed to drop alongside the Wild Card DLC on 21 November, might bump those numbers up a little.
