Last week, we learned from multiple industry insiders that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 is real - and it's coming this year!
Giant Bomb reporter Jeff Grubb claimed just a few days ago that we should expect to hear about the upcoming sequel in a "significant way" before E3 2022 (June). It's also been suggested that the wait between the game's reveal and release won't be that long, and that the game is aiming for a 2022 release, which is always a welcome surprise.
The ever-reliable Star Wars insider Bespin Bulletin has elaborated on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2's 2022 release date, claiming that we can expect to see it around autumn. If true, that would mean just a few months after the game is revealed, we'll be playing it!
Bespin Bulletin also shared a few more intriguing details on LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and the Knights Of The Old Republic remake, which was announced just a few months ago.
According to Bespin Bulletin, the Knights Of The Old Republic remake is currently coming along well and aiming for a 2023 release date. Naturally, it's still early days for this project and there's plenty that could change between now and next year.
The LEGO game, meanwhile, is looking to launch around April/May. Bespin Bulletin does note, however, that these dates may shift as a result of COVID, which has reportedly already impacted The Skywalker Saga multiple times.
Assuming Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 and LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga both launch this year as planned, 2022 promises to be an exciting time for Star Wars video games. Take all of this with a pinch of salt for now, and we'll update you as soon as we learn more. No doubt May 4 (Star Wars day) will be one to watch for major announcements.
