Darth Nilihus is making somewhat of a comeback thanks to San Diego Comic Con, stirring thoughts that maybe, one day, we’ll get to see him in action once again.
You see, the reappearance of Darth Nihilus isn’t coming via a game, nor a film, or even a comic book, instead, the classic Star Wars villain will be a decorative statue.
It has been many years since Darth Nihilus was introduced in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II, as the main villain.
A dark lord of the Sith, he ruled after the Jedi Civil War, during the era of strife, becoming an iconic character for his striking mask.

His unique trait saw him hunger for The Force, and seek to consume it, and bend it to his will.
Long have fans of the franchise wanted to see Darth Nihilus make a return, and though we’d prefer to see him reign over the galaxy in a live-action film, or TV show, much of his story was left out of the current canon established by Disney.
The story of both games in the Knights of the Republic games would fit in perfectly with the current Star Wars timeline, and Darth Nihilus would make for the perfect enemy to battle against the Jedi.
We’d like to think that the licensing of this collectible statue means something is on the horizon for the character, but nobody wants to get their hopes up.

His design is one of the coolest out there, leaning into white and red for his mask, rather than simple black, which added a new dimension to his look.
It oddly made him all the more sinister, almost animal like in its construction.
The statue looks lush, posed with his red lightsaber, cloak flapping around him, and if you’re heading to SDCC, you can snag it for yourself.
