Tom Holland wants to keep playing Spider-Man/Peter Parker as long as possible, and we hope so too.

Tom Holland made his debut as the friendly neighbourhood hero in the 2016 movie, Captain America: Civil War. Since that time, Holland has been one of the most popular actors in the MCU starring in multiple movies, including three Spider-Man releases with a promise of at least a fourth entry on the way. However, Spider-Man 4 has been delayed due to the recent writers' strike.

Whenever that fourth Spider-Man movie might arrive starring Tom Holland, remains to be seen, but as far as the actor is concerned, he wants to keep player Peter Parker for as long as the Marvel Cinematic Universe lets him.

Talking to Entertainment Tonight about his new Apple TV+ series, The Crowded Room, Holland touched upon his hopes for his future in the MCU.

“I think as long as we can do justice to Peter Parker. As long as we can keep elevating and making the films better and making them mean more, then I'll be there,” he said. “I'd be stupid to say that I wouldn't be the luckiest kid alive if I got to do it again, there's stuff going on, but we'll have to just wait and see what happens.”

At just 27 years old and with a youthful face, Tom Holland surely has plenty of years left in the tank in the role of Spider-Man. That being said, as fans of the Marvel universe will know, there’s plenty of room for more than one Spidey. Recently, a live-action Miles Morales Spider-Man movie has been announced and fans have already made their casting choice.

In related news, the gameplay of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 from Insomniac Games was finally revealed at a PlayStation Showcase event and it blew fans away. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be released later this year for PlayStation 5.
