The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is packed full of interesting NPCs and quests but perhaps none are more infamous than The Forsworn Conspiracy.
When Bethesda first released The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in 2011, I think even they could not have predicted the huge hit that it would become. Sure, every entry in The Elder Scrolls series is always a massive deal but the fact that Skyrim is still going strong today after nearly 15 years is nothing short of incredible.

The Forsworn Conspiracy is known for being a buggy quest that can prevent some from ever finishing it but it’s also a difficult quest in its own right with challenging foes and a moral grey area that makes the player question whether they’ve done right or wrong.

At the heart of this quest are characters Madanach, an antagonist otherwise known as The King of Rags, and a loyal companion named Lydia. It’s often suggested that if you complete The Forsworn Conspiracy, it can leave a sour taste in your mouth no matter what choice you make, however, a Reddit user thinks differently.
“I think I accidentally discovered a way to "win" The Forsworn Conspiracy quest line,” exclaimed Strange_Bonus9044. To cut a long story short, in an event which saw Madanach escape, the Reddit user and Lydia were swarmed by guards of the Forsworn and after they were valiantly defeated, the player and the companion were left standing.

This epic battle resulted in an entire city being eradicated of corruption and with Strange_Bonus9044 expecting the quest to end with choosing the lesser of two evils, they felt that they had come out on top.
This may or may not have been an official conclusion to The Forsworn Conspiracy, regardless, there was no sour taste in the mouth of Strange_Bonus9044 after claiming victory and to me, this alternate ending very much sounds like an epic finale.
