Robert Pattinson Wants To Do A Batman Sequel With Iconic Villains

In a recent interview, star of The Batman, Robert Pattinson, has revealed some of the more obscure villains he would like to take down.

The latest Batman movie The Batman isn't even out yet, but the actor behind the bat-based crime fighter, Robert Pattinson, already has some ideas on who he would like to take down next. The new film is a more horror themed reboot of the Batman universe, and will feature many of the franchises most popular villains including the Riddler, Catwoman, and a completely transformed Colin Farrell as the Penguin.

However, in a recent interview with Den of Geek Pattinson revealed he has more obscure plans for future foes. “I’d love to do something like Court of Owls, - There are elements of The Batman which are kind of horror and I think it really feels quite new for Batman.” The Court, which have now expanded into the more pleasantly named Parliament of Owls, are an underground secret society of richos who use their power and influence to control Gotham behind the scenes.

Those interested for the upcoming cinematic release can take a peek at the extended international trailer for The Batman below.

The group also kidnap child circus performers and train them to be assassins. So if you were worried the Parliament might make Batman a little too political, the prepubescent group of executioners, named the Talons, have you covered on your action packed needs. Pattison had one more idea from the comics he'd like to see in the sequel: Calendar Man.

Quite the opposite of Gotham's aviary issues, Calendar Man has far more self interested goals; he's a cold blooded serial killer. By planning his murders only on dates of significance and then dressing up for the occasion, he takes pleasure in doing his deeds out in the open and still evading capture.

There's still a few weeks left before we can see The Batman coming to cinemas on 4 March, but if Pattinson gets his way there will be a few more fun jaunts in waiting.
