A Red Dead Redemption 2 player discovers a secret island in the map, which Rockstar Games never wanted us to see.
It’s fair to say that Red Dead Redemption 2 is a huge game and not just by its map size because there’s loads to do such as bounty hunting, tracking wildlife, playing a game of cards at a saloon and much more.

Red Dead Redemption 2 was released in 2018 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and even for a map of its size, it might be safe to assume that most players have seen all there is to see. Well, that might not be the case, after an inquisitive player discovers a secret island hidden by Rockstar Games.

As brought to our attention by the YouTube channel Trippy Commentaries, there is a beach located in Guarma that typically doesn't let you freely explore. The location where Arthur, Dutch and company find themselves prisoners in Aguasdulces.
When the player returns to this location thanks to some out-of-bounds/glitchy wizardry as John Martson (it’s apparently not possible with Arthur Morgan), a couple of islands can be seen in the distance. This journey can be achieved via boat, as demonstrated by Basement Gamer Bros.
By using the assistance of a mighty wonky donkey, the player can reach the one larger island. There’s not much to be seen on the island but the YouTuber believes that this arena may have been intended for more by Rockstar Games.
Nonetheless, it’s curious to see what else exists outside of the normal parameters of Red Dead Redemption 2 and we’re sure this won't be the last discovered secret.

“That was amazing! The view from the top of that island is gorgeous. And I can't believe a sea turtle was swimming next to John,” commented shellyscott187.
“You can explore freely if Arthur jumps the wall when Dutch tells him to wait outside when rescuing Javier...but don't fire a gun, it claps the mission,” revealed LostInOhio75.
“That poor donkey,” exclaimed septemberpours.
Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online are out now.
