Red Dead Redemption 2 players have stumbled upon another secret that can even be found in the first game.
It’s the game that keeps on giving, and it’s going to carry on giving for a good long while as it’s going to be another decade or so until we get a sequel/prequel.
Check out Red Dead Redemption 2 below.
That’a alright though as it’s a damn good game. The only thing that would make it better is an optimised version for the Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, which doesn’t appear to be happening but we’ll keep on dreaming.

Back to the matter at hand though. It’s clear to anyone who’s played Red Dead Redemption 2 that it’s an enormous game, and there’s a lot to see and do. It’s even more rewarding to explore when you’ve played the first game too, as you might see some familiar sights on your travels.
One Redditor pointed out that you can find a grave in Blackwater belonging to Dutch’s mother, something he tells you about in one of the cutscenes.
This is cool in itself but it’s even cooler when you consider the grave might play a different role in the story, as one commenter reckons, “My guess is that’s where he hid the Blackwater money. They say it’s in a place that won’t be disturbed and on the fishing trip he makes an offhand comment about his mother being right in the end or something.”
Another player pointed out you can find the same grave in the same place in the first game as well, which is just a cool attention to detail on Rockstar’s part.

Whether the money is actually hidden there or not is unconfirmed, but knowing Dutch, he would put it somewhere where he couldn’t lose track of it, and his offhand comment does make you think…
