Just when I thought I’d seen everything, I now can’t unsee this Katamari Damacy mod for Red Dead Redemption 2.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the biggest games of all time, with Rockstar Games offering hundreds of hours of content in the base game.

But apparently that’s not good enough for some players, who have dedicated a large part of their lives to modding custom content into their game.

These custom creations range from extra missions and horses, to downright weird monstrosities like this Katamari Damacy mod.

As demonstrated on their YouTube channel, Red Dead modder Blurbs has created a mod where everything you touch ends up sticking to you.

Blurbs

The result is about as chaotic as you’d expect, where Blurbs shows that everything from pedestrians and horses, to boats and carriages get stuck to Arthur as he moves around the world.

It’s also incredibly broken at times, which I think is just part of the fun. NPCs and items clip through walls, things randomly bug out, and it’s quite difficult to even understand what’s going on at times.

You should check out Blurbs’ video in full, as it’s a rather interesting watch. I’ve linked it below for your amusement.

The Katamari Damacy Mod For Red Dead Redemption 2 Needs To Be Seen To Be Believed

Not only does he show off the actual mod working, but also records and details his process in full to give you an idea of the sheer volume of work behind creating some of these ambitious mods.

The mod is based on the Katamari games, which debuted in 2004 with Katamari Damacy. The premise of the series is basically where you play as a character who must roll a ball called a Katamari to roll up objects, with everything in sight being able to stick to the ball. It's a rather bizarre series but incredibly fun if you go in with an open mind.

This isn’t the first time Blurbs has created truly cursed mods for Red Dead Redemption 2 either. He went viral last year for creating a mod where every time you kill an NPC, you get a glimpse at some of their memories to make you feel guilty about murdering them.

Blurbs has also made mods where NPCs are drunk all the time, where traffic speed is increased to immense proportions, and even one where Jack gets turned into a tomahawk. It’s truly a cursed video feed, but well worth looking through.
