Rockstar Games are experts at world-building and creating environments where players are thrilled to simply wander, getting lost in the details.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a game littered with little details, Easter eggs, and historical touches that immerse the player, and heighten the experience.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is filled with hidden details and areas still being discovered by players

It doesn’t matter how many times you play Red Dead Redemption 2, it’s easy to miss some details, or even entire locations, tucked away by Rockstar Games.

One area that many players missed, was an unmarked graveyard, linked to the railways and tunnels that burrow under the map.

If you don’t have time to jump back into the game, you can find some lovely walkthroughs over on YouTube, that showcase the area.

This particular area takes you underground, through the tunnels, where you’ll need a lantern to light the way.

The rafters of the tunnel, which is found in Lemoyne, are inscribed with names of those who worked on the underground railway.

The basement in Old Trail Rise will lead you on this journey and take players on a tour of this important historical moment in American history.

Following the tunnel brings you out to a homestead linked to the slaves who built the railroad, and if you follow the clues here, you can find the graveyard.

Nearby, at Ringneck Creek, you can find the location of some unmarked graves, likely belonging to the slaves who worked on the railroad and either died while working, or were killed when trying to escape.

It’s one of many ways Rockstar Games honours the history of those who built the West up from a dust bowl, and it’s a sad and solemn moment when you stumble upon the area.

If you want to see every detail in Red Dead Redemption 2, it’s worth looking out for this one and paying your respects.
