Despite a lack of updates since it was first released back in 2018, one player was shocked to see a recent update for Red Dead Redemption 2 and took to Reddit to seek answers.
It is no secret that Red Dead Redemption 2 was very much left in the dust after it was first released almost six-years ago. Although Red Dead Online has received some care, the base game has not and it has been up to modders to add new and exciting content to the game.

However, upon booting up their console on 19 March, one player discovered a 1.52GB update for Red Dead Redemption 2 and took to r/reddeadredemption to get answers on some possible changes.

“Quite surprised to see an update. I don’t think I’ve seen this game update since I got it. Anyone know anything?” they wrote alongside a screenshot of the update download.
Despite being posted less than 24-hours ago, the post has already garnered over 200 comments with people speculating as to what the update could be. Answers vary from a simple quality of life update, a fix for the ongoing deer glitch which is seen following Act 6 and even a possible Rockstar launcher update considering Grand Theft Auto V reportedly had an update at the same time.
However, it seems as though the update was concerning a stable glitch which saw Arthur bug out when entering stables around the map. This has been a subject of concern for a long time and many players report it being fixed since this mysterious update. If there were other fixes, we are yet unsure what they were.
In related Red Dead Redemption 2 news, actors from the game recently surprised students by crashing their history class. That would make quite a day at school to say the least.
