Red Dead Redemption 2 is possibly the closest a game has ever been to perfection, so it makes you wonder how GTA VI is going to hold up as Rockstar Games' next open-world masterpiece.
Check out the trailer for GTA VI below.
That being said there are still a bunch of features that could have been in Red Dead Redemption 2 that weren’t.

Examples include heading back to key story areas like Guarma after beating the game and the option to take other characters with you on your adventures.
During certain story missions, Arthur will be joined by another member of the gang, acting as an ally in combat and someone for the protagonist to chat with as they’re getting down to business.
You have no choice in who accompanies you, unless you use glitches and/or mods to give you control of it.
An example of this in action can be seen on a Reddit post showing Arthur galloping across the map with the entire gang riding alongside him, and it looks straight out of a Western film finale.

The user who uploaded the clip said, “I wish Rockstar made a companion system. Imagine camping with Charles or doing a bounty with Micah or Sadie. Rockstar really missed out on this opportunity.”
Others agreed, with one saying, “Imagine calling upon the entire gang and having a shootout in Saint Denis or somewhere. Wild.”
Admittedly, it would have been a massive improvement to the already stellar open-world exploration, especially if you gave us the chance to throw Micah off a cliff…
Maybe in Red Dead Redemption 3, which is unconfirmed but bound to happen eventually, Rockstar will introduce a fully-fledged companion system.
