Some nights, when I can't sleep, I think about the ending of Red Dead Redemption 2. I mean, wow. There are amazing video game climaxes, and then there's the ending of Red Dead Redemption 2.
Arthur Morgan's final ride and eventual death are among some of the most affecting moments in video game history. By the time our hero succumbs to his illness, having given John Marston a chance at a better life, I was convinced Red Dead Redemption 2 is going down as an all-timer.
Take a look at some of the best Red Dead Redemption 2 wins and fails below!
As sad as the ending is, what if Arthur didn't die? It's a question the creator of Red Dead Redemption: Arthur's Redemption has decided to ask. It's not a question any of us really wanted answered, I suspect, but I'm happy enough to see that it has been.

"Arthur's story doesn't stop in chapter six," the mod's creator explains. "He is healthy again and you can start a new journey with him and the remnants of the gang. Blackwater, Tall Trees, Great Plains & New Austin are now unlocked for Arthur."
The crux of this fun little mod essentially revolves around letting you play through much of the game's epilogue content as Arthur Morgan, which is pretty cool. It also adds some fun extra touches so it doesn't just feel like you're playing a reskinned John Marston, such as creating new camps for you to live in with what's left of the old gang. Lenny, Micah, and Dutch are all gone, naturally.
In short, if you want to believe in an alternate universe where Arthur didn't get sick and managed to save the gang from themselves, this is definitely the mod for you. No more reloading chapter two just to feel something.
