It’s always interesting to see how players get around what the developers planned for the characters we play as.

One Red Dead Redemption 2 player has found a way to kill Micah in Chapter 6, something that shouldn’t be possible at all.

Red Dead Redemption recently made its way to PC after many years bringing the stellar Undead Nightmare DLC with it.

According to the player, who posted their findings to Reddit, it’s quite the task to end the mission in this way.

So, here’s how it goes; when you reach the point of having to choose between protecting John or returning for the money, return to Micah.

You will begin a fight with him using only a knife.

As the Redditor explains, “While fighting him ONLY DODGE TO THE LEFT AND SWING ONCE even if he dodges your attack, or you miss, don't swing again as this will start the cutscene.”

Just keep dodging to the left and attacking once. This apparently depletes his health very slowly.

And they do mean slowly - it takes around 20 minutes to do this.

Once Micah is dead, you’ll have achieved something Rockstar Games never intended to happen.

What happens next? Well, nothing. Sadly, this action sort of soft-locks the game and you’re stuck in Micah’s camp.

The original poster of this discovery explains in a reply, “You’re just stuck there, the fight music still playing, and all you can do is walk around camp with his corpse laying there. You can pick up his hat, though.”

Of course, it’s a bold way to end the game, as you’ll technically have finished it. Albeit, you’ll have to reload your save and finish properly.

If you’ve ever wondered if this could be done, it can be, but it’ll take a toll on your patience.

Well done to Western_Pepper_124 for bringing us news of this, because it’s unlikely we’ll ever try it ourselves.
