Well, this is a major win. We should find out the full PlayStation Plus February extra and premium tier line-up later today but as is usually the case, several titles appear to have leaked ahead of time - and we truly are in for a treat this month.
In case you missed this month’s essential tier drop, PS Plus subscribers can currently grab OlliOlli World, Evil Dead: The Game, Destiny 2: Beyond Light, and Mafia: Definitive Edition. Many are hailing Mafia: Definitive Edition as the best remake of all time, so that’s definitely worth checking out. Today though, reliable leaker billbil-kun is teasing what extra and premium subscribers will soon gain access to and Horizon Forbidden West is the star of the show.
Horizon Forbidden West’s first DLC, Burning Shores, is due to be released in April. Take a look at the trailer below.
That’s right. As reported by VGC, Guerrilla Games’ incredible Horizon Zero Dawn sequel is rumoured to be landing on PlayStation Plus imminently. It will supposedly be joined by Scarlet Nexus, Resident Evil VII: Biohazard, and Borderlands 3. Horizon Forbidden West was, of course, nominated for GOTY at last year’s Game Awards. It didn’t win but if you ask me, it offered the year’s very best open world. In fact, many fans are claiming that the game doesn’t get enough credit for being stunning. Is it finally Forbidden West’s time to shine?
Advert
Burning Shores, the game’s first DLC, is due to be released in April and will be the franchise’s first PS5-exclusive. It’s possible that Sony could be adding Forbidden West to PS Plus to drum up some hype ahead of the DLC’s release.
Billbil-kun teased that these are just a few of the titles that’ll be announced later. Typically, we see between 10 and 15 games added across the extra and premium catalogues. As always, do take this leak with a pinch of salt until anything is officially confirmed by Sony. We shouldn’t have to wait long for the reveal though.
