In an effort to improve the PlayStation 5 ahead of the inevitable launch of the PlayStation 6, Sony are in full force releasing new and exciting features to the current-gen console.

Ahead of a somewhat secret feature hidden amongst PlayStation 5’s settings that we reported last week, it seems as though Sony are rolling out another massive new update.

New to the PS5 this week is Stellar Blade. Check it out below!

Titled ‘Community Game Help’, this new feature will allow PS5 owners to share their gameplay which can in turn be used as tutorials for other players.

As an extension of the previous Game Help function which would give users visual tutorials on how to complete certain parts of a game, this new feature will reportedly go the extra mile to help.

Sony explains: "Once you turn on the settings, your PS5 will automatically capture a video when you complete a certain activity in a game. Then, it will be reviewed by a moderator, and if approved, your video will be published as a Game Help hint for PlayStation players to watch, learn from, and rate."

“To opt in, go to Settings > Captures & Broadcasts > Captures > Auto Captures > Community Game Help, and then select Participate. You can also opt out at any time,” read the update notes.

It is clear that Sony is working hard to bring a more social aspect to its consoles. Additionally, with titles getting harder and harder in recent years, getting that little bit of extra help can be no bad thing.

This new feature comes alongside the removal of the pesky “Remote Play Connected” notification which would pop up at every opportunity as well as an overall fix which would improve “system software performance and stability”.

Although these are all helpful features, PlayStation fans are still calling out for the return of the PlayStation 4’s dynamic themes which are yet to rear their head on the PS5. However, it seems as though Sony has no current plans for its revival.
