PlayStation job listing accidentally confirms PS6 game

PlayStation job listing accidentally confirms PS6 game

Will PS exclusives continue to reign supreme?

As exciting as news of the PS6 is, what is more exciting is slowly uncovering which games we may see made available on the next-gen console.

That is why a recent discovery courtesy of new job listings has got fans excited for a potential horror title heading to the PlayStation 6 when it launches.

Until then, check out the PlayStation 5 below!

The project reportedly comes from PlayStation Studio Firesprite who is currently working on a “dark” exclusive title.

Not much is known about it but we now know that it is set to have a “heavy focus on art, animation, and delivering unique character performances to heighten player presence and immersion to new levels.”

This information comes courtesy of six new job listings for Firesprite that were recently discovered on its official website and Linkedin page.

The roles will be for a senior cinematic designer, a principal level designer and a head of audio to name a few but more specifically, one listing notes that the untitled game will have photorealistic graphics.

It will also feature “AAA quality creatures” which could point to a potential horror title or a survival game to say the least.

Speaking of AAA, Firesprite describes it as an “exciting AAA project” as well as “highly ambitious”.

As a result, the developers plan to use a “compelling cinematic experience” with plans to take "atmosphere, storytelling, player agency, and narrative firmly into ground-breaking territory on next-generation hardware technologies”.

This particular line grabbed fan’s attention with “next-generation” possible alluding to the game being released on the PlayStation 6.

However, with the project still mostly under wraps, it may be a while until we hear any more official information.

That being said, with PlayStation still leading the charge for exclusives, we feel hopeful that this untitled game will perform just as well.
