I say it every month but I’m going to say it again, it’s PlayStation Plus catalogue drop time - and I cannot believe how quickly that day always comes around. Today, it’s time for a fresh batch of games to join the extra and premium tier catalogues and let me tell you, it’s a good line-up.

Before we dive in, let’s recap on April’s essential tier offerings. This month, PS Plus subscribers can grab Sackboy: A Big Adventure (plus a bunch of extra DLC), Tails of Iron, and the very popular day one release Meet Your Maker. Between Meet Your Maker and Tchia, PlayStation Plus is really stepping up when it comes to day one releases. Let’s move onto the new offerings though. This month, 16 new games will be made available for extra and premium tier subscribers.

Speaking of Tchia, take a look at the delightful trailer below.

The main highlight this month is Kena: Bridge of Spirits. It’s a title that many subscribers have been asking for for months, and it’s finally being added. Trust me, it is a true delight. Joining Kena is Doom Eternal (PS4/5), Riders Republic (PS4/5), Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus (PS4), Slay The Spire (PS4), Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom (PS4/5), The Evil Within (PS4), Wolfenstein: The Old Blood (PS4), Bassmaster Fishing (PS4/5), and Paradise Killer (PS4/5) and Sackboy: A Big Adventure (PS4/5).

It’s interesting that Sackboy: A Big Adventure is on that list seeing as it’s also available to everyone already in this month’s essential tier offerings. I suppose if you somehow miss April’s essential tier drop, it’ll then be solely available in the extra tier after that.

As for the premium tier classics, there’s Doom (PS4), Doom II (PS4), Doom 64 (PS4), Doom 3 (PS4), and Dishonored: Definitive Edition (PS4). What title are you planning on diving into first?
