A PlayStation 5 price makes the console the cheapest it’s ever been so far.
It doesn't matter what we buy, whether it’s weekly shopping, the latest movie, video game or console, we like to save a little bit of money where we can. Especially during a time when things are seemingly more expensive than ever
Back in March this year, we reported on a PlayStation 5 deal was the cheapest it’s ever been. The deal in question was the PS5 console bundled with God of War Ragnarök for $509.99.
However, as reported by engadget.com, that very same PS5 and God of War Ragnarök bundle is now even cheaper at $499 and is available via Amazon. In total, this deal saves you $60 if each item were purchased individually at the maximum RRP. Sadly at the time of writing, there is no like-for-like bundle in the UK, but hopefully, that will change in the coming days.
Advert
If this deal does not come to the UK in the next few days, we do have the next Amazon Prime Day sales, which should be taking place in July, not to mention the Black Friday sales this November. So hopefully with a bit of luck and patience, we should all be able to save a few quid.
In related news, PlayStation 5 sales recently rocketed by a whopping 500% as Sony vastly improved stock supplies to retailers across the world. This in turn resulted in greedy scalpers scurrying away with stock that they’re now forced to sell way below their intended price. What a shame.
Sony may intend to drop the RRP permanently of the PS5 digital and disc edition consoles in the near future. That’s if recent rumours are to be believed that the PlayStation 5 Pro is soon on the way. As they say, watch this space.
