Users of Xbox Series X, Series S, and Xbox One consoles have been experiencing issues since the most recent console update that has been breaking their games.
Thankfully, Microsoft is already on the case and has pushed out an update, however, a few users are still expressing concern that the error keeps appearing.
How do you feel about the Minecraft movie trailer?
It’s unclear what actually causes the issue, but players are seeing an alert screen when trying to play online games.

Essentially, they’re being told that they are not connected to the internet, even though they are and can verify this through the consoles.
Players are being told to update their console manually by heading into the settings, then finding the system submenu, to get to the update section.
This information comes directly from engineering lead Eden Marie, who posted to Reddit that the new update “will help.”
This may indeed solve the problem, however, the update comes with a slight issue itself - it’s only available for non-Xbox Insiders currently.

This means that if you’re part of that program, you’re going to have to wait for Xbox to roll out the update for you.
Marie said, "Insiders may not get this fix for a few days depending on ring. If you want to force the fix, you can unenroll from the preview program in the Xbox Insider Hub and initiate an update. This will trigger a factory reset after which you'll be fixed and can rejoin your Insider ring."
Of course, issues like this aren’t always an easy fix, especially as it’s impacting all three of Microsoft’s consoles across the Xbox range.
There has been no word since this message from Xbox, so many users will either have to wait or jump through a few hoops to update the console themselves.

Hopefully, this is just a blip and everything will be up and running again very soon.
