CardboardChampion wrote a long list of tips, including how to utilise quick resume, why you should be an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, but also a word on Microsoft Rewards.
“You sign up and get points for every purchase, plus access to extra quizzes and activities to earn points including daily, weekly, and monthly bonuses,” they explained.
The helpful Redditor continued, “Points can be swapped for Xbox Credit [...] Not signing up is literally throwing money away. I don't buy all that much but do the dailies and the like and usually walk away with about £50-£70 a year depending on what I cash out with.”
This tip is echoed by many others, with onlyambition10 also saying, “use Microsoft rewards, my brother. I spent the first couple months disregarding it, but once I got a good grasp on how to work it. It's literally free money.”

This tips keep coming up through the thread, with one user saying simply, “Use and abuse MS rewards.”
Essentially, as you play and buy games, you’ll accrue Microsoft points and these can be converted into store credit.
You might not find yourself flush with buckets of cash, but anything helps, right? You’ll be surprised how many points stack up.
Make sure you use the Microsoft app for your phone, too. This also adds points through Game Pass interactions and the odd quiz.
