It sounds like Starfield may indeed be coming to PlayStation 5, following a recent interview with the CEO of Microsoft Gaming, Phil Spencer.
Thank you in advance to The Gamer's Rhiannon Bevan for the original story.
Earlier this week, Destin Legarie sat down with Phil Spencer on his podcast, Save State Plus, and asked him the question that’s been on all of our minds since the game first dropped: "Can you solidify that Starfield is staying put for the time being?"

"No," replied Spencer, "There's no reason for me to put a ringfence around any game, and say this game will not go to a place [where] it would find players, where it would have business success for us…"
"Our strategy is to allow our games to be available. Game Pass is an important component of playing the games on our platform, but to keep games off of other platforms, that's not a path for us".
Take a look at Starfield in action below.
Although it wasn’t a direct confirmation from Spencer, it was a close to one as we’ll get until a direct PS5 port of Starfield is announced.

That being said, it would be more of a surprise if we didn’t get a PlayStation port of the game at this point.
Microsoft has been very clear about its intentions to port Xbox-exclusive titles to other platforms moving forward, and Starfield is no exception.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, perhaps the single greatest Xbox Series X/S exclusive title of the last few years, already has a PlayStation 5 port on the way (set to release at some point in Q2 of this year).
At this point, Starfield’s PS5 port is more of a “when” than an “if”, so expect to hear a more direct confirmation at some point in the coming months.

Makes you wonder if The Elder Scrolls VI will be a timed exclusive as well, or if Microsoft will release it day one on PS5/PS6 instead.
