One hit 2017 action-adventure game will be free for Xbox and PC users over the next 48 hours and once downloaded, it will be yours to keep forever.

Announced overnight, Bethesda has added an epic title to its Xbox and PC storefronts but if you are interested, you have just a few hours left to grab it before it heads back to full price.

Not only that but the game comes via Prime Gaming so users will need an Amazon Prime subscription in order to make use of this deal.

However, once you have grabbed it, you will be able to dive into an epic adventure on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

The game in question is Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, a 2017 action-adventure title from MachineGames and published by Bethesda Softworks.

It is the seventh main instalment in the Wolfenstein series and a sequel to 2014’s Wolfenstein: The New Order.

The game is set in an alternate history that takes place in 1961, following a Nazi victory during World War II.

“America, 1961. Your assassination of Nazi General Deathshead was a short-lived victory,” the official synopsis reads.

“Despite the setback, the Nazis maintain their stranglehold on the world.

You are BJ Blazkowicz, aka “Terror-Billy,” member of the Resistance, scourge of the Nazi empire, and humanity’s last hope for liberty.

Only you have the guts, guns, and gumption to return stateside, kill every Nazi in sight, and spark the second American Revolution.”

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus won Best Action Game at The Game Awards back in 2017 and also received nominations for Best Performance, Best Game Direction, and Best Narrative so it is safe to say that you will not want to miss out on this opportunity to grab it for free.

However, you have just 48 hours to do so so you had better hurry!
