The bug which affected Xbox users was first spotted in March but has now been resolved courtesy of the company who took to Twitter to issue a statement just six days after it first became aware of the problem.
“Users should once again be able to unlock achievements in Fallout 4. Thank you for your patience, and happy gaming!” the Tweet read.
This is perfect timing as Bethesda is gearing up to release Fallout 4’s new-gen update on 25 April. The update will see the 2015 title head to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S alongside 60fps support.
It will also include Performance and Quality modes, increased resolution, stability improvements and overall quality of life and bug fixes. As for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users, they will also see some improvements alongside PC users who will now have access to widescreen and ultra-widescreen support.
