Halo is rumoured to be coming to PlayStation according to insiders, I’m sure Xbox fans will be completely normal about it.

Xbox recently confirmed its plans to embrace third-party software and partnerships, starting with four previously Xbox exclusives being ported to PlayStation. These games were Sea Of Thieves, Pentiment, Hi-Fi Rush and Grounded

Speaking of PlayStation, Stellar Blade is out now and it’s causing quite a stir, check out the trailer below

This has led to intense speculation that other exclusives like Starfield and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle could also find their way to PlayStation platforms in the future.

Of course nothing has been confirmed at the time of writing, and there are still reports knocking around that Bethesda’s upcoming RPGs, The Elder Scrolls VI and Fallout 5 will be exclusive to Xbox and PC.

Now though, adding a little more flame to the fire is reports that Halo will be one of the next franchises to make the leap to Sony’s console, a decision I’m sure won’t spark any heated debate or arguments amongst gamers.

This was mentioned by Jez Corden on the Xbox Two Discord channel, who said that all first-party Xbox series will make their way to PlayStation eventually, including Halo and the Forza games.

Corden also suggested Xbox is attempting to be more like Steam as it embraces a multiplatform future.

Of course take this with a pinch of salt as Microsoft hasn’t made any announcements regarding additional Xbox exclusives appearing on other platforms.

In fact Xbox boss Phil Spencer described Sea Of Thieves, Pentiment, Hi-Fi Rush and Grounded’s ports as an “experiment” and not indicative of the company's future plans.

Personally, I wouldn’t mind seeing the Halo games appear on PlayStation and even think the series could stand to benefit from a port, but I also wouldn’t be disappointed if it remained an Xbox exclusive.
