The Elder Scrolls VI has been teased by one of the Bethesda developers, seemingly confirming the game’s setting.
The next Elder Scrolls game is shrouded in mystery and anxiety with fans, after all how can it possibly live up to the standard set by The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?
Speaking of Skyrim, check out some of these hilarious fails from players below
Skyrim is often considered the gold-standard of open-world fantasy games, even with the likes of Baldur’s Gate 3 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt offering just as magical of an experience.

Many Bethesda fans are concerned that games like Fallout 76 and Starfield are signs the developer just doesn’t have it anymore, but it's far too early to tell if that’s the case.
In possibly the most exciting news surrounding the game in a while though one of the game’s developers recently posted an image to BlueSky that many are taking as a tease for the upcoming RPG.
The tease comes from Emil Pagliaruto, seemingly one of the game's lead desingers, and all but confirms the game will be set in the desert region of Hammerfell.
Fans said as much in a Reddit thread discussing the image, with one fan describing The Elder Scrolls VI as “Prince of Persia but orcs and dinosaur people are there, let's go.”

Another fan already has an idea for their custom character, describing them as “A white-ass guy with the most arabic clothing possible. I'm going for a sort of Lawrence of Arabia type.”
Finally one fan mocked the community a bit, saying “People on this subreddit will still say there is no reason to believe the game will be set in Hammerfell.”
So there you have it, The Elder Scrolls VI seems to be taking place in Hammerfell after all for better or for worse, though of course we’ll hold off judgement until an actual trailer confirms it.
