While the majority of Bethesda fans are gearing up for the studio's brand-new IP, Starfield, many have been looking ahead to future titles, mainly The Elder Scrolls VI and Fallout 5.
Starfield is almost here, check out the new live-action trailer below
While Fallout 5 is still a long, long, long way off, only being confirmed to be in the cards by Todd Howard, The Elder Scrolls VI is a different story.

Its official announcement teaser was shared in 2018, a whopping five years ago and we've heard nothing since. Then, all the new details about Starfield arose, blowing us away with its highly-explorable galaxy and making us forget about the whole thing.
Bethesda made it clear that once Starfield is out the door, development on The Elder Scrolls VI would follow, according to new details from Peter Hines, Head of Publishing at Bethesda Softworks.
Hines recently spoke in an interview with Vandal (via ResetEra) about the future of Bethesda, and what projects are on the horizon. Hines said "there are people working on The Elder Scrolls VI" but the majority of the team is still focused on Starfield for the time being. When asked if this meant The Elder Scrolls VI is still in the pre-production/concept planning phase, Hines said: "No. It's in development, but it's in early development."
Exciting news for Bethesda fans, and while The Elder Scrolls VI likely won't be the space epic that Starfield is, it's almost guaranteed to blow us away with its scope. Bethesda exec Todd Howard recently said the next Elder Scrolls will be the "ultimate fantasy world simulator", as well as potentially his last game.

Given how the game has only just entered production, fans are going to have to strap in for a long wait before we see a glimpse of the title in action. Luckily, we have Starfield to tide us over while we wait, and first impressions are looking very promising.
The Elder Scrolls VI currently has no release date, but will likely launch on Xbox, PC and potentially PlayStation platforms.
