Steam users can check out one of 2024's best-looking games free right now

Steam users won't want to miss this free demo, it's a good one

If you’re looking for something new to play on Steam right now, why not give Sand Land a go? As it’s currently playable for free right now.

Steam is a one-stop shop for all your gaming needs if you’re playing on PC, and while there are almost always some sweet discounts to take advantage of, occasionally you can find some freebies squirrelled away too.

Check out the trailer for Sand Land below

The freebie we’re talking about today is a free demo for Sand Land, Bandai Namco’s latest anime game that scored favourably amongst reviews, including myself who adored its visuals and its engaging combat.

Following the Demon Prince Beelzebub and his new friends, the game takes the player on a journey to bring water back to the desert world of Sand Land, and visit an entirely new region, Forest Land.

The original manga was written by the late Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama, who gave the game his stamp of approval in a letter written before his passing.

For those who are hesitant to fully commit to Sand Land’s adventure-filled world, there’s a free demo available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and, you guessed it, Steam.

The demo should give you a taste of the action, as well as give you the chance to explore some of the world for yourself until you make a decision.

I’d highly recommend giving it a go, especially if you’re a fan of Akira Toriyama’s work as the whole game oozes with his style and influence.

It’s also one of the most gorgeous games to release this year so far, and there’s plenty to get side-tracked with while you play through the main story and build some incredible vehicles to traverse the wasteland with.

The Sand Land demo is available on Steam, and Xbox/PlayStation platforms, right now, give it a go.
