In case your Steam library isn’t large enough, there’s another free game available now for you to try out.
We write about free games a lot on GAMINGbible, and these games often fulfil a certain vibe or style that is appealing to casual play.
If you’re interested in playing something that emphasises mindfulness, you may want to check out Four Divine Abidings.
Four Divine Abidings is an idle incremental game inspired by Buddhist philosophy, and uses hand-painted art to promote mindfulness in its gameplay and themes.

“Cultivate the Four Divine Abidings: Loving-Kindness (Metta), Compassion (Karuna), Appreciative Joy (Mudita), and Equanimity (Upekkha) - and apply them in various encounters,” reads the official description for Four Divine Abidings on Steam.
“Your entire journey will be guided by a series of tasks that gradually introduce core concepts. With dedication, you can complete the game through a series of Rebirths, shaped by the Karma Seeds sown in previous incarnations.
“Sow karma seeds to shape each rebirth and experience the journey in new ways. Each step you make brings you closer towards the ultimate goal of Full Liberation.”
There are 202 Milestones to claim, allowing you to master 32 Skills and Insights as you continue playing and levelling up.

However, I would recommend using this game to relax rather than stressing over your progress. It’s a game that promotes mindfulness, after all.
However, the game supports both idle and active playstyles apparently, meaning those who do desire a more quicker-paced game can get that experience out of this.
In addition to this, the developer also emphasises the hand-painted art as a part of the core experience. It looks gorgeous, and is apparently getting its own offline exhibition soon too.
Four Divine Abidings is available now to download from Steam for free. Fans of the game can also check out a supporter pack, which costs £4.29 and includes an additional 7 Seedlings as a token of appreciation.
