I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Gaming can be an expensive hobby, especially when fresh releases continue to rise in price with every new console generation. You don’t have to spend a fortune though in order to find an absolute gem.
In fact, on occasion, you don’t need to spend a penny at all. Here at GAMINGbible, we like to highlight the latest free-to-play releases to make gaming accessible to all - and today, I bring you six more freebies that you can currently grab on Steam. The latest line-up (via SteamGamesPC) consists of Daisho, Road to Top G, Versus Vampire, Summum Aeterna, Fight! Olyn Island and the very popular Marvel SNAP.
PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass subscribers can currently grab the delightful Sea of Stars.
Marvel SNAP is undoubtedly going to be the game you’re most likely to have heard of here. It won Best Mobile Game at last year’s Game Awards - and now, it’s landed on Steam. Developed by Second Dinner Studios, Marvel SNAP is a trading card game that allows you to gather together a team of your favourite heroes and villains.

Next up, we have Daisho: Survival of a Samurai. Created by Colossi Games, Daisho is an action RPG that also utilises survival and village building mechanics. Much like Marvel SNAP, the title was previously released on mobile but is now in Steam early access.
If you’re more into shooters, you may want to check out indie release Road to Top G where you’ll be required to “survive waves of zombies, collect perks, unlock boss door, and face the Top G in an intense showdown”. Versus Vampire is a multiplayer title that sees you engage in a war between humans and vampires.
Fan of roguelites? The prologue of Summum Aeterna is available to sample now. The game is a “fast-paced Roguelite inspired by the Metroidvania Aeterna Noctis,” where you’ll “create your own worlds” in each new run. Finally, Fight! Olyn Island rounds us out. Developed by Hoxi Games, this multiplayer strategy game is a fresh take on auto chess. Hopefully, there’s a bit of something here for everyone.
