If you want to check out a brand new and challenging shooter on Steam with “Overwhelmingly Positive” reviews, then you’re in the right place.
The PC platform Steam can be a great store to discover the latest AAA titles and indie delights. However, with thousands of games to play in an instant, it’s easy to stumble across a few stinkers from time to time but by the looks of it, the game that is the subject of today is no stinker.
Check out the Deadzone: Rogue trailer below!
The game in question, as revealed via the trailer above is Deadzone: Rogue, a co-op shooter developed and published by the indie studio, Prophecy Games.

“Deadzone: Rogue is a roguelite first-person shooter set in deep space. Slay hordes of enemies, loot powerful gear, and customise your loadout during each unique run,” reads the description of the game on Steam.
“Uncover fragments of your past as you piece together the truth behind your mission. Fight. Die. Revive. Repeat.”
After watching its gameplay trailer, not only does Deadzone: Rogue look promising but it also gave me Returnal and Destiny vibes. However, if a trailer wasn't enough to convince you, perhaps its recent “Overwhelmingly Positive” reviews might.
Yet, if the trailer and reviews still weren't enough to tempt you, then you can download and play its free demo right now to see what all the fuss is about.

Prophecy Games is a relatively new studio (at least judging by its Steam page) only previously working on two relatively unknown games called Tribes 3 and Ultra Strikers.
It’s impressive that during its early days, Deadzone: Rogue looks to be as promising as it is. Hopefully, you’ll find it to be a fun game after playing the free demo.
At the time of writing, Deadzone: Rogue does not have a release date other than it’s “coming soon”. So be sure to wishlist it on Steam to be notified of its launch.
