Ahead of another week, Steam has come to the rescue yet again with a bunch of free downloads that are available to try out right now.

As a result, PC users can dive into any of these underrated gems to try before they buy and it is clear there is something for everyone.

So without further ado, let’s take a look at nine examples.

RunOut - a co-op battling multiplayer which sees players team up to fight the Legendary Bear whilst avoiding their dangerous surroundings. Be aware, there will be no mercy.

Tartaros - based on the myth of Hades and Persephone, this retro-style puzzle adventure sees you take on the role of Persephone who is desperate to escape the Underworld.

Akaku Forest - this puzzle platforming adventure will see you take on epic Metroidvania bosses as you take on the role of forest spirit, Maku.

Heart of Artermisa - those with rhythm can check out this rhythm adventure game/dungeon crawler/roguelite. Players must defeat enemies and solve puzzles to the beat of some banging tunes.

Astrumis - those looking for a co-op horror title can try this heart-pumping title where one player takes on the role of a survivor and the other must take control of the ship itself.

Pedalverse - last but not least is a chill cycling game which will see you go on solo rides through rough terrain and mountain tracks alongside your drone.
