Ahead of the upcoming weekend, Steam has dropped a free download of an exciting new Souslike title.
Frostflame is a free-to-play Brazilian Soulslike title developed by a single person. Yep, you read that correctly.
Once Human is also free for all Steam users. Check out its trailer below!
The story follows Chihiro, the disciples of the great master Hori Masashi who are on a mission to the lowlands in pursuit of peace.

This is only possible by ending the wars of the five kingdoms and eliminating the power of the Frostflame.
This action RPG features third-person rhythmic combat inspired by styles found in Feudal Japan and the more enemies you kill, the more flames you can absorb to upgrade your character.
“Just like in real life, war occurs due to the search for power and control, but amidst the chaos, a clan called the Shokushu emerges.
It has been gaining strength using the mysterious power of the Frozen Flame, which gives power and immortality to the Shokushu soldiers,” the synopsis reads.

When the village of Kakure is attacked by the Flame clan, Chihiro is captured and taken to a mysterious location and it is from there they will return as a frozen creature ten years later.
Frostflame currently sits at a positive rating on Steam.
One review, translated from Portuguese reads, “It has potential! I'll keep an eye out for updates. I thought it was pretty cool.”
Not only that but the developer themselves thanked players for their support.

“I'm Frostflame's dev guys!” They wrote.
“I developed the entire game by myself and I'm working hard to improve it more and more for you, so when the complete game is finished it will be perfect for everyone.”
