If you're looking for something new to play that won't set you back any of the hard-earned cash of yours, I might have just the game for you.
On my travels across the internet in search of stories (translation: I was sat scrolling through my phone as my wife watched Grey's Anatomy), I was reminded of an absolute banger of a free game on Steam. And it just so happens that it's blowing up again right now.
Take a look below.
If you've never heard of it before, I'm delighted to inform you that Sky: Children Of The Light is a bloody lovely indie game that's well worth your attention.

There are no monsters to slay or worlds to save, really. Instead, Sky is all about giving players a relaxing ride through a gorgeous world. No wonder it has a 9/10 rating on Steam.
"Sky: Children of the Light is a peaceful, award-winning MMO from the creators of Journey," developer and publisher thatgamecompany explains on Steam.
"Explore a beautifully-animated kingdom across seven realms and create enriching memories with other players in this delightful puzzle-adventure game."
At the time of writing, Sky has seen a bit of an uptick in players according to SteamDB. Though from what I can see it appears to regularly peak as new players discover what a charming experience it is.

The game currently has hundreds of positive reviews, with many praising it for taking the concept of an MMO and doing something completely different.
Indeed, Sky isn't about grinding or levelling up so much as it's about just winding down after a long day and sharing an experience - often with complete strangers.
So if you're looking for something to do this weekend, I'd definitely recommend giving Sky a chance if you've never checked it out before.
