It’s always nice to play video games that won't cost you a penny, especially during a cost-of-living crisis that doesn't look like it's coming to an end anytime soon.
What’s more, if we can play a free demo for a game that we’ve been looking forward to, it can drastically reduce the chances of us wasting our hard-earned money. For example, how many times have we been deceived by a pre-release trailer only for that game to suck?

Thankfully, on places such as the PlayStation Store, Xbox Marketplace and Nintendo eShop, there are tons of demos that we can check out for free. However, for the topic of today’s article, I’ve picked out ten playable demos that you can download and play today via Steam:
