Stardew Valley meets Zelda in adorable new RPG

This looks so charming!

If you’re looking for an endlessly charming new RPG that is for fans of Stardew Valley and The Legend of Zelda, then look no further than this adorable game.

There are not many games as relaxing, yet so immersive than the undisputed king of indie darlings, otherwise known as Stardew Valley, created by ConcernedApe.

Check out the Pixelshire trailer below!

Since its first release nearly a decade ago in 2016, Stardew Valley has entertained fans for countless hours offering a delightful pixelated world that allows you to farm, craft and chat with its beloved villagers to your heart's content.

Then we have The Legend of Zelda series, one of the true OG’s of the action-adventure genre since its inception on the NES in 1986. Whether it’s from the old-school top-down perspective or the vibrant 3D open-worlds of Tears of the Kingdom, we can never get enough of this legendary Nintendo series.

That being said, if you’re on the lookout for a new RPG that blends the best elements of Stardew Valley and classic The Legend of Zelda (with a hint of The Lord of the Rings), then Pixelshire might be the cosy game you’ve been looking for.

“Build the town of Pixelshire and grow your community in a unique RPG sandbox which mixes life sim elements with town building, exploration, and combat,” reads the synopsis of Pixelshire. “Express yourself by planning the town to your liking, master trades, get to know your neighbours, and explore the continent of Arcadia.”

Developed by Kepa Bits and published by Merge Games, Pixelshire does not have a release date at the time of writing but be sure to wishlist it on Steam to be notified of its launch.

There is no word as to whether Pixelshire will be released on console but we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for a Nintendo Switch launch.
