In the words of Cilla Black (really showing my age here), “Surprise, surprise!”
Stardew Valley is a game that takes it time when it comes to new content.
Non-PC players are still waiting for version 1.6 of the ConcernedApe game to become available; though apparently console users will soon get said update come early November.

Our point is that surprise DLCs don't happen often, if at all.
Unlike the quiet days on the farm that Stardew typically offers, this new content is going to offer something slightly different.
We'll never tire of hearing the Stardew Valley music
In yet another collaboration, Balatro has added several new additions to its “chaotically brilliant” gameplay.

Although it sounds like an odd development, it’s one fans are absolutely loving.
“Pierre as the joker holding bags of money is absolutely perfect,” commented Reddit user Bapepsi.
Stardew’s store owner always seemed like such a modest man, to see this Moneybags side of him leaves me wondering if we’ve ever seen the real Pierre...?
Of course, if you’re going to win at Balatro, having different sides to your your game will come in very handy.

As far as depth goes, a change of design is all you’ll really notice when playing this new DLC.
Nevertheless, for Stardew and Balatro fans, it’s wonderful to see a match that nobody dared to dream become reality.
If it’s greater change you seek, then Stardew’s sequel is just the ticket.
Sadly, it isn’t out just yet, but that isn’t stopping fans from being hyped about what this new adventure will offer. Besides lots and lots of chocolate, that is.

We hope you find something to play for now that this DLC is available. However, if you don’t fancy playing a game of poker, there’s hidden features still left to uncover in Stardew.
The hold this indie game has on us is still so strong, we doubt it’ll ever loosen its grip. And we’re totally fine with that.
You can play the latest Balatro DLC now. Or maybe once you’re back home; it’s up to you really.
