An upcoming Unreal Engine 5 game looks like an unsettling mix of Resident Evil and a little bit of Bloodborne.

Unreal Engine 5 has been responsible for some incredible games and game concepts, granting the developers the power needed to craft stunning worlds with life-like graphics.

GAMINGbible recently sat down with the cast of the Fallout live-action series for a game of snog, marry, irradiate and you can watch the chaos unfold in the below video

While there are some exciting AAA games in the works using Unreal Engine 5, mainly the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel, there are also some incredible fan projects and indie games taking advantage of the development tools as well.

We’ve covered a few of these titles in the past, though the one we’re talking about today is an unnamed tech demo that looks like it’d make an incredible foundation for a horror game.

The video was shared by Digital Dreams, and while there’s nothing inherently spooky jumping out at you, the atmosphere does give an unsettling Resident Evil vibe.

Some of the creepy gravestones and mausoleums even look like they’ve been ripped out of Bloodborne too, though they do somewhat lose their effectiveness in the daylight.

Nevertheless it’s an impressive demo, and another example of how Unreal Engine 5 can be used to create some really spooky experiences for video games.

The video also states that this is the graphical fidelity we should expect from The Witcher 4, and honestly given how CD Projekt Red continuously push the boundaries for graphical quality we don’t blame them.

In related news, an upcoming Captain America and Black Panther crossover game called Marvel 1943: Rise Of Hydra is also confirmed to have been made with Unreal Engine 5, and looks spectacular based on the story trailer.

Gamers certainly have a lot to be excited about as more developers start to grow familiar with Unreal Engine 5.
