Despite the psychological horror title P.T. no longer available to download and play, one gamer has found a way to make it possible and the results are startling.

Serving as an interactive teaser for the game Silent Hills, P.T. was released in 2014 by Kojima Productions and was free for PlayStation 4 users.

However, after the cancellation of Silent Hills, Konami proceeded to remove P.T. from the PlayStation Store, which not only made it impossible to reinstall, but meant that no new players would ever be able to experience it.

Since then, fans have been desperate to see the game restored and although their pleas have seemingly fallen on deaf ears, one player has come to the rescue by incorporating P.T. into another PlayStation title.

As of now, an unofficial remake of P.T. is available via the game Dreams.

Dreams is a game creation system video game where players can create games, music, paintings, animation, sculpture movies and more using the title’s engine.

By using the game’s tools, players have recreated titles such as The Last of Us and Cyberpunk 2077 and now the same can be said for P.T.

Created by DrJones20, a full remake of P.T. can be found within Dreams and is available for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players.

The playable title captures all the horror of the original P.T. including the aesthetic and feel but of course differs slightly with visuals considering this is a completely different game.

With a version of Norman Reedus in the game, there is no denying that this is the closest we are going to get to the psychological horror title and with 1,869 players having downloaded it, it seems gamers agree.

Not only that but for extra scares, DrJones20 has also confirmed that the P.T. remake is also available for VR so if you want a horror-filled weekend, you know where to look.
