PlayStation users may need to heed this warning.
On 31 December 2024, Sony Rewards will end, meaning that you have a limited-time left to redeem any available rewards.
I want to make it clear that Sony Rewards is very different from PlayStation Stars, so don’t mix the two up.

That being said, the free store credit reward on PlayStation Stars appears to be living on borrowed time too, so you may want to take the advice of cashing in your points while you still can.
The option has already disappeared for many users, myself included.
Let’s jump back to Sony Rewards though.
As with all reward schemes, it allows users to earn points on purchases made via Sony stores or online, unlocking benefits as they did so.

This includes exchanging points for free store credit, but I don’t mean just for the PlayStation Store - although that is an option, with $5 and $50 available for 500 and 5,000 points respectively.
In addition to that, participants can exchange points for credit for major US stores and services including Target, Barnes & Noble, Starbucks, and Uber to name a few.
That’ll soon no longer be possible though when the reward service closes on 31 December, meaning you have just over one month left to nab yourself some goodies.
ICYMI: LEGO Horizon Adventures is now available on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
To view your points balance, simply log into your Sony Rewards account and you should be able to view your balance in the top-right corner.

It’s also available to view in the Sony Rewards app.
Once you’ve headed on over to the Rewards tab and picked out your prize, the gift card should arrive in 48 hours and this will come via email.
If you have a PlayStation or Sony Visa Credit Card, the scheme will be replaced with a new one, with information rolling out to the relevant participants soon.
Those without the relevant credit card will lose access permanently though, so make those redemptions while you still can.
