PlayStation officially drops stunning new hardware you can pre-order now

Sony has a selection of new hardware for PlayStation fans to get their grubby little hands on, and you can pre-order it all today.

The Midnight Black collection was unveiled a while ago, but now you can finally put your money down and grab some gaming goodies.

If you can’t tell, the Midnight Black collection rebrands a bunch of accessories in a lush black colourway.

As part of the collection, you can get a new Dual Sense Edge which will set you back £199.

It’s not just a new controller, however, if you’re in need of better sound, you’ve got Midnight Black PULSE wireless earbuds, also £199.

Then, there’s the standard PULSE wireless headset, which will match everything else in the set.

Lastly, you’ve got the option to buy the PS Portal, Sony’s handheld cloud streaming console that also allows for remote play.

The new Portal is also priced at £199, which is frankly bonkers when it allows you to play your PS5 games away from your console for the same price as a headset.

I’m not gonna lie, I’ve been in the market for a Portal for a while and the black is so sexy that I might have to make the bank manager angry at me and drop a pre-order.

Everything in the collection is available to buy now, and is a stark change from the original white we got on release.

So, if you’re in the market for some new PlayStation goodies, now’s your chance to expand your collection and have your accessories stand out.

Now, if we could only get an actual PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 5 Pro in the same colour, we’d be cooking.

I do miss the days when consoles came in a variety of colours and had more personality, but these will have to do.
