Another month, another PlayStation Plus prediction thread - and this time a lot of folks are convinced that Hogwarts Legacy will be landing on the service in the next couple of days.
The next batch of PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium additions is expected to be announced tomorrow, which is why the folks over on r/PlayStationPlus have set up their monthly prediction thread.
As expected, the names of a bunch of different titles are being thrown around. Assassin's Creed Mirage, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and Resident Evil 4 (2023) are some of the top contenders, but one title is cropping up a hell of a lot more than any of the others: Hogwarts Legacy.

Now, this is a prediction thread. There’s no real basis for any of these guesses, so don’t take the consensus as any kind of proof that this is a sure thing.
However… it’s not out of the realm of possibility.

Hogwarts Legacy has been available as a free timed trial through PlayStation Plus Premium for a while now, and a lot of the games that start as timed trials on PlayStation Plus do eventually end up making their way onto the service as fully downloadable titles.

The only real thing holding the game back from finding its way onto PlayStation Plus is its neverending success.
As of October last year, the game has sold over 30 million copies worldwide. Wildly successful games do eventually find their way onto PlayStation Plus, but only once sales truly begin to peter out.
Either way, we’ll make sure to update you over the next couple of days once Sony releases the full list of PlayStation Plus’ upcoming additions.
Personally I’d be surprised if Hogwarts Legacy is on said list, so don’t get your hopes up. There’s always next month anyway.
