Roll up, roll up PlayStation Plus subscribers. All subscribers can currently grab a bonus freebie on top of this month’s previously announced games. We absolutely love to hear it.
To recap, this month’s essential tier offerings consist of Saints Row (2022), Black Desert - Traveler Edition, and Generation Zero which, admittedly, isn’t the strongest of line-ups. This was coupled with the announcement of a major price hike, so you can understand why some PlayStation Plus subscribers are threatening to end their subscriptions. We should find out what’ll be added to the extra and premium tiers this month in just a few days time on Wednesday 13 September. In the meantime though, you can now grab a new Overwatch 2 Bonus Pack.
Take a look at Saints Row (2022) in action below.
As reported by AFKGaming, Overwatch 2 players who also happen to be PlayStation Plus subscribers can head on over to the PlayStation Store right now to grab the new Overwatch 2 Tracer Will-O’-Wisp Bonus Pack. This pack includes the Will-O’-Wisp Tracer Legendary Skin, plus five Battle Pass tier skips. This is a Halloween event skin, so is only available for a limited time. You know what this means, grab it now Tracer fans to avoid missing out.

In case you missed news of PlayStation Plus’ upcoming price hike, costs have gone up by roughly a third. Essential tier 12-month subscriptions now cost $79.99/€71,99/£59.99. Extra tier costs are rising to $134.99/€125,99/£99.99, while premium tier will now set you back $159.99 USD/€151,99/£119.99.
In some territories, including Turkey, subscribers have reported a 600% rise. Insiders claim PlayStation will soon have an announcement ‘justifying’ the increase. Perhaps a major title is hitting the platform? If God of War Ragnarök was to be included in this month’s extra tier drop, I think that would alleviate some subscriber concerns. This is all speculation though so we’ll have to see what comes our way later this week.
